Manufacturing Day | Legislature in Victoria
Explore some highlights of Williams & White President Matt Williams day at the annual Manufacturing Day at the Legislature in Victoria on October 16, 2017. Manufacturing day is a coordinated event between CME, Manufacturing Safety Alliance of BC, AIAC, and members from other partner manufacturing organizations. Where leaders of industry are given the chance to engage in a series of executive roundtable discussions on the issues that affect manufacturing in British Columbia with Members of the Legislative Assembly from all political parties along with senior bureaucrats and other key decision makers listening and taking suggestions of change. Williams & White was proud to speak along side other manufacturers with one voice on the issues affecting them in BC and how we can work together with the government to drive investment, create jobs and expand exports. President & COO Matt Williams worked alongside other industry leaders to deliver a coordinated message of how the BC government could better our sector to as many MLA's as possible throughout the day.
Our company is honored to be viewed as a leader in BC's manufacturing industry, and it was a greater honor to be able to speak to such members of parliament as John Horgan, Bruce Ralston, John Yap, and Lama Popham.
